Electrical Engineer

TriMech is seeking a Electrical Engineer with a DoD Secret Clearance at Aberdeen, MD to support Prototype Integration program onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground. 

TriMech is providing full lifecycle product development to design, develop, test and manufacture communications solutions that meet the military technology insertion needs.    

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:

  • General knowledge of electronic principles and practices.
  • Skilled in the interpretation of drawings, schematics, and specifications of electronic systems.
  • Conduct electronic analyses of target devices, including functional analyses of the target devices, understand and describe how the target functions from an electronic perspective – basic signaling characteristics; voltage levels; electrical connections; electrical modifications to commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware

Required Experience for the Electrical Engineer:

  • 3-5 years of electrical engineering design and integration support of communications or other hardware related systems into rack and stack environments
  • Experience working CAD Package to create schematics and/or wiring diagrams
  • Must be well versed with various industry standards (ASME & MIL standards)
  • Experience with developing power requirements
  • Experience with rack mounted electronics and necessary power distrobution

Education for the Electrical Engineer:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electronics

  • Working knowledge of CAD design tools (Creo, Creo Schematic, AutoCad Electrical)
  • Must be well versed with ASME & MIL standards
  • Experience managing data and following design protocols in WindChill PDM System.
