The COSE Coordinator, Chamber Relations is responsible for providing support to COSE's partnerships and affiliations with local chambers of commerce across the state of Ohio. This includes organizing, systematizing, scheduling and executing tasks which will help streamline COSE chamber partnerships and affiliations thus bringing value to small businesses in the chamber partner footprint. This position will work collaboratively across departments to ensure specific program marketing initiatives are handled in an orderly fashion.
Assist in the outreach and management of ongoing Chamber Partner and Affiliate relationships
Attend Chamber events and programs and ensure consistent COSE presence at these events by working with internal staff and Chamber leadership
Coordinate the fulfillment of annual sponsorship commitments with the Chamber Partners and Affiliates
Assist in the preparation for quarterly Chamber meetings, including agenda creation, logistics, minutes, and other essential duties
Maintain an ongoing, accurate database that reflects Chamber dual members, prospects, and the event attendance and program and product utilization of these members
Create internal communications tools to share chamber information with other COSE departments to increase collaboration opportunities.
Coordinate the execution of marketing initiatives to raise awareness of the benefits of a COSE/Chamber membership and the promotion of COSE products, programs and events
Oversee the ongoing communication from Chamber Partners and Affiliates to their memberships about the COSE/Chamber Partnership or Affiliation
Oversee the implementation and deliverables of COSE's grant opportunities and work collaboratively with staff to ensure compliance and maximum outcomes as directed by the grant requirements.
Provide Chambers of Commerce with ongoing, relevant content to distribute to their memberships
Oversee logistics for joint COSE & Chamber events including staffing, scheduling and event detail maintenance
Assist with new Chamber partner rollouts, which includes event planning, development and distribution of marketing communications pieces, and CRM data imports
Assist occasionally on joint events to promote the partnership and benefits of dual membership.
Engage member and complete touch points per requirements of COSE member engagement program providing a deeper connection to COSE for the member and working to identify and deliver the best combination of resources for the member's needs to increase the value they receive from the organization, support retention of the member and generate referrals for additional member prospects.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Four-year degree in Business, Communications or related field or equivalent experience preferred
One to three years of experience working in external relations or with Chambers of Commerce a plus.
Excellent organizational skills related to processing information and materials.
Process and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a continuously evolving work environment.
Exceptional time management skills

Experience working in/with small business
