Global Information Grid (GIG) Service Management-Operations (GSM-O), a Defense and Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a Network Provisioning Engineer at Columbus, OH.
In this role you will be required to use your current technical capabilities as well as use your on-the-job training to:
Responsible for managing problems and risk areas and mitigates their impact. Performs technical reviews. Possesses a broad knowledge of all RF tools (DISA Direct, WWOLS, TIBI, SNAP, etc.) as well as all DISA Work Instructions & Circulars. Provides functional guidance, supervision to all members of the Customer Out-Reach Team. Assists with all phases of ordering service (DDSF), and ensures accurate cost estimates are provided. Liaisons with the DCCC, NOCs, DISA Global Team, and OSS in resolving mission partner issues. Provides and ensures technical support, training and quality assurance/quality control with all DISA standards. Manages provisioning completion report process. Supports senior staff as required and ensures customer requirements and project milestones are met. Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to IP and transport circuit requests. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution.
*Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with 2-4 years of overall related experience. 4+ years of additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
*Currently possess an active Secret security clearance.
*Able to work in a shift work environment.
*Experience with one or more of the following: technical writing, helpdesk, information gathering and some software problem solving.
*Expertise in one or more of the following: WWOLS, DISA Storefront (DSF), MetaSolv (MSS), WWOLS-R and BMC / ITSM ticketing software.
*General understanding of network topologies, both transport and IP
