GENERAL SUMMARY:  Manages and coordinates consistency across all departments of the facility.  Provides the vision and direction for Safety Policies and programs throughout.  Maintains production levels in line with organizational goals and initiatives and acts as an intermediary with the Supply Chain business unit.  Responsible for operating budget development and management in assigned areas.



  • Successfully direct the efficient, safe, and affective operation of a 250+ facility which is the flagship operation for the company.
  • Plan, direct and oversee the operations of operations, quality, MDC, regulatory, maintenance and safety for the entire facility.  (40%)
  • Direct manage and lead cross functional staff.  (20%)
  • Work to establish, in conjunction with staff, departmental budgets and manage expense throughout the year.  Accountable for budget performance.  (10%)
  • Support continuous improvement projects leading to more efficient production.  (10%)
  • Responsible for all campus regulatory compliance.  (5%)
  • Responsible for safety of all campus associates.  (10%)
  • Responsible for all campus quality.  (5%)
  • Associate recognition, OEE uptime initiatives, reduction of overtime, and level loading of production schedules.


REQUIREMENTS:  Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment or related, with progressive responsibility and direct supervision of others.  Must possess working knowledge of manufacturing processes, planning/scheduling, process and product development, maintenance processes, distribution processes, regulatory controls, financial controls, safety and environmental regulations, continuous improvement and management skills

  • Influence associates at all levels of the organization.
