Role Test Engineer III Location Herndon, VA 20170 Duration Full-time Job Description Required Function 1 Responsibilities Develops publishes and implements test plans. Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products Writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Required Function 2 Required Skills Excellent communication skills (written verbal) Must possess at least 5+ years of QA experience. Should have experience working in an Agile project team (Project Manager, Designers, Developers, Scrum Master other QA) in a collaborative environment. Experience developing Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Data based on the requirements Experience with REST and SOAP API testing Experience with SQL scripts, creating test data, validating test results. Running test validations at various levels including DB validation, logging validation, and UI validation. Perform both new functional and regression tests identify, analyze and report issues for follow-up. Familiar with both front-end UI automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) and back-end API testing. Experience performing testing on both front end and back end systems. Experience Performing Gap Analysis on requirements. Document and prioritize defects and work with the team to resolve. Knowledge of Automation tool will be an added advantage.
